Leonetto Cappiello PostersLeonetto Cappiello PostersLeonetto Cappiello (1875 - 1942) was born in Livorno, Italy, but worked mostly in Paris designing posters and advertising artwork. His first poster was published in 1899 and his style evolved from Art Nouveau through Art Deco as an acknowledged master of both. He is known as "the father of modern advertising".
